Life at Torrya is full of muddy paws, wagging tails, questionable amounts of dog hair and Cardigan Welsh Corgis who are absolutely convinced they’re in charge. And truthfully? They might be right.
Tucked away on our acreage property in Jimboomba, Queensland, our Cardigans are much more than the dogs we breed. They’re our little shadows, adventure buddies, farm supervisors and very enthusiastic members of the family. They’re clever, affectionate, endlessly entertaining and have a rather impressive talent for making themselves comfortable wherever you were planning to sit.
It’s safe to say we are completely in love with this wonderful breed, and it’s a love we’re pretty passionate about sharing.
As a small, dedicated Cardigan Welsh Corgi breeder in Queensland, our goal isn’t simply to raise beautiful puppies. It’s to thoughtfully bring together the qualities that make a Cardigan so special. Lovely temperaments, sound structure, good health and that unmistakable corgi character we adore.
Every breeding decision is made with purpose, supported by health testing, careful planning and the expertise of our trusted veterinarians and reproductive specialists. We take the responsibility seriously, even if our dogs don’t always take us quite so seriously.
Our puppies are raised inside our family home, where their earliest adventures involve gentle cuddles, new discoveries, everyday household sounds and learning that the world is a pretty wonderful place. We put our hearts into those first little weeks because we know we’re raising someone’s future best friend.
And that’s probably our favourite part of all this.
Seeing the joy these little dogs bring to their families. Hearing about their adventures, celebrating their milestones and receiving those wonderful updates that usually involve a stolen sock, a suspiciously innocent expression or a corgi sleeping somewhere they probably shouldn’t be.
When you welcome a Torrya Corgi into your life, our journey together doesn’t end at the front gate. We’re always here to share advice, celebrate the little wins and, of course, admire an unreasonable number of puppy photos.
