About us

We are a dedicated, ethical Cardigan Welsh Corgi breeder in Australia, located on a charming equestrian property in the Gold Coast Hinterland, Queensland. Our responsible breeding program focuses on quality over quantity, aiming to uphold the breed's integrity by adhering to the Australian breed standard.

We focus on functional conformation, sound temperaments, and long-term health and happiness. Our Cardigan Welsh Corgi puppies are raised in our loving family home, with calm, age-appropriate enrichment, high-quality nutrition, and plenty of love and cuddles.

Our waitlist families are kept updated and involved throughout the entire litter-raising journey. And when your puppy becomes part of your family, we’re still here — ready to offer lifelong support and guidance whenever needed.

We also love being kept up to date with the joy, milestones, and adventures your Torrya Corgi brings as they grow.

Corgis are intelligent, loyal, and endlessly entertaining — eager to learn, always keen to be part of your daily life, and the perfect size for modern family homes. Our Cardigan Corgis are our best friends, loyal little shadows with short legs who follow us wherever we go.

We cannot imagine life without them; they’ve truly made our house a home.

Frequently Asked Corgi Questions

Please reach us at torryacorgis@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

There’s always been a Corgi in my life — even before I was born, our family had a Pembroke. Over time, I fell in love with the Cardigan Corgi in particular. They’re deeply loyal, intuitive, and I’ll admit I have a huge soft spot for the stunning blue merle colour the breed offers. I’ve been breeding Corgis for over five years, starting with my foundation girl, Poppet. She came from an ANKC breeder with over 50 years’ experience and generations of champions, giving me a strong foundation to build my program on.

Cardigan Welsh Corgis are clever, entertaining, and full of heart. They adapt easily, with an easy-going nature that makes them wonderful with both children and other animals. By night, they’re cuddle bugs on the lounge, and by day, they’re active little ball catchers. I love that they’re small enough not to take over the whole bed, light enough to lift into the car, yet sturdy and energetic enough to enjoy every adventure.

Their loyalty and quirky personalities make them unforgettable companions — always close by, whether helping in the garden, following me to collect eggs from the chicken pen, or keeping the floor crumb-free. Breeding them allows me to share that joy with other families while also helping preserve this beautiful, vulnerable breed.

The first step is filling out my zExpression of Interest form here on the website (or via Dogz Online). Once received, I’ll reply within 24 hours to confirm, give you updates on upcoming litters, and answer any questions. Your form helps me learn about your lifestyle and preferences so I can match you with the right puppy personality when the time comes.

Absolutely! Many Torrya puppies have happily flown interstate, including all the way to Tasmania and Western Australia. I work with trusted transport companies to ensure safe, smooth travel, and I’m more than happy to recommend options. For families who can’t visit in person, I also offer video calls, so you can still feel connected and confident in the puppy you’re welcoming home.
